Travels to New York City


I ventured to the Big Apple with some friends on April 22. The bus trip, to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Central PA, was my first venture to New York in over a decade. This year I wanted to travel to the city to capture the amazing and historic architecture, gritty streets, and big buildings.

After arriving, my sister, her husband, and my friend and I all venturing to Midtown Manhatten. Starting at Bryant Park, where the bus left us, as we went from street to street, we weaved around the busy city.

This past year has been especially challenging for everyone. It seems almost everyone I talk to says that they are happy to see 2016 end. If for political reasons, or for personal reasons, or whatever your reason for feeling like that was just not your year, no fear, because we are right in the beginning of 2017.

In 2014, Radisson Hotel Harrisburg purchased my artwork for their renovated rooms to hang above the bed. The project was for 125 rooms, specifically 50 double beds, and 75 king bedrooms.
