Last year I created photographs during a fundraising event for The Lucky Girls! Here’s a photo from the event and below is a video of several photos. Here’s a bit about the fundraiser:
The Lucky Girls Fundraiser is held each year to raise awareness and funding to benefit the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Girl’s Orphanage in Bakeswat, India, a small village outside of Kolkata. The orphanage houses over 100 girls and provides education, food, shelter, tutoring, and performing/visual art instruction.
Last year (2013) the event, held at the Conestoga Restaurant in Lancaster, PA, hosted by Shear Miracle Organics, raised over $6,000 to benefit the orphanage.

This year’s fundraiser will be held on October 25 from 5-10 p.m. at Acorn Farms in Mount Joy, PA.
